LACDA
The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA), established in April 2004, acts as a gallery for the display of digital artworks in Los Angeles, California.

The new identity reflects LACDA’s core value, “Open Art, Open Community.” The identity takes the pixel as its core motif, expanding both its conceptual and visual language. The broad spectrum of digital art and technological practices converges into the smallest visual unit—the pixel. It expresses an angular character that reveals experimentation and shifting tension. As a hub that embraces and connects diverse genres and artists within digital art, LACDA functions as a space for convergence and exchange.

The main pattern and overall visual language directly extend from the logo’s idea of misalignment and openness. Pixelated and randomized forms converge from one cluster into another, while bold, angular edges preserve tension and leave a striking, dynamic impression. These forms not only connect internally, but also expand across different media to establish a unified, connected flow.

Gallery website, made in Framer with custom code (pattern), was designed to be functional and adaptable for the gallery team. It allows them to easily update or replace content within each section while maintaining the integrity of the overall identity system.
