where are we

where are we: The Introspective views on Lives and Justice is an identity project for a reimagined exhibition (original: Breath(e)). The exhibition explores pressing issues related to the ethics of climate justice, while proposing pragmatic and philosophical approaches to spur discussion and resolution. The new title poses a question that invites reflection on our existence—who we are and where we belong.

The exhibition’s identity starts from the central idea shared by the artists and essays in the original catalog: “There should be no boundary between humans and ecology. The key to solving these problems is to blur that boundary.”
The wordmark intentionally disrupts typographic hierarchy, prompting the audience to question themselves while simultaneously recalling where we stand—both physically and within the challenges we face on Earth. The dual reading of where are we and where we are reinforces this reflection, turning the title itself into a contemplative statement that invites consideration of the interconnectedness between humanity, nature, and the ecosystem.

The audience can immerse themselves in the exhibition through an interactive introductory wall, experiencing a sense of connection with nature and ecology.
